Write one useful sentence
Before opening the color controls, write what your character does. A coastal courier and a rooftop mechanic can share a species but still need different clothes, poses and habits.
Choose an accessory that explains something
A repair pouch suggests a mechanic. A route badge suggests a courier. One meaningful accessory usually tells a clearer story than several unrelated props.
Test the connection
Ask someone what they think the character does after seeing only the picture. Their answer can reveal whether the design choices support your concept.
