Use an origin briefly
A hometown, workshop or garden gives context. It does not need to explain every moment of the character’s life.
Add a current goal
The character needs something they can act on now: a delivery, a repair, a reunion. That goal turns a description into a possible story.
Give them a difficult choice
A route changes, a rival needs help or a plan fails. The character’s response should show the flaw or value you wrote in their profile.
